5 Effective Ways to Ban Nail Fungus

This oil can be applied with a cotton ball soaked, sprayed or applied twice a day for several months until the fungus is completely gone and does not grow again. However, make sure you are not allergic to this one oil.

2. Soak in a mixture of warm water and apple vinegar

Apple vinegar applied to nail fungus can create an unfriendly acidic environment for fungi. At the same time, apple cider vinegar has been shown to kill bacteria and other fungi such as dermatophytes.

Add apple cider vinegar with warm water to soak the feet for thirty minutes, twice per day. Can also be applied to the cotton and placed directly on the nail. Make sure the feet are not wet when the cotton is placed on the nails.

3. Apply lavender oil

Besides being fragrant, lavender oil has natural antiviral, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. The use of lavender oil in the body is considered to increase circulation and the immune system. These two things are often overlooked when you eradicate nail fungus.

Buy pure lavender oil instead of lavender essential oil. This is important because essential oils do not have substances from lavender as a whole.

Apply to the edges of moldy nails to ensure absorption into the skin even though it can penetrate the nails but takes longer. Many health experts recommend a mixture of lavender oil and tea tree oil for fungal nail.

4. Garlic

A 2009 study revealed that garlic contains allicin and ajoene compounds which have antifungal and antimicrobial properties. These natural compounds are believed to be able to treat nail fungus problems.

The trick, chop some garlic cloves, then place it on the part of the nail that is infected with the fungus for 30 minutes a day. Even though it smells quite stinging, it doesn't matter if you can treat your nail fungus problems, right?

5. Olive oil

Various olive leaf extracts are reported to contain antifungal and antimicrobial ingredients that can boost immunity. Both in the form of oil and ointment, both of which can help overcome fungal nail infections that you experience.

Apply olive ointment or oil directly to the infected part of the nail, then wait for a few moments. after that, rinse thoroughly and make sure the nail area is completely dry to prevent fungal development.

In addition, you can also use olive leaf extract in capsule form. One study shows that consuming one to three capsules of olive leaf extract can speed up healing of nail fungus.
