7 Medical Reasons Why You Feel Tired All Day

Tired and lethargic are two health problems that are often considered trivial. In fact, both of these conditions can make you not excited to do important activities that had previously been planned. When it's like this, you should immediately consult a doctor. Because feeling tired throughout the day which disrupts the quality of life can be a sign of certain health problems.

As for some health problems that hide behind the fatigue that you experience, namely:

1. Anemia

The first thing that can cause fatigue all the time is anemia. Anemia is a condition of low blood hemoglobin value.  The signs are limp body, easily tired and sleepy, look pale, and lack concentration. If you experience this, immediately do a blood check to the doctor.

2. Chronic illness

3. Depression

If you feel tired all the time, don't want to get out of bed, and / or have trouble sleeping accompanied by sadness, you may be depressed. This condition can cause ongoing fatigue and the emergence of suicidal ideation.

Depression also poses a threat to other health aspects of the body, including hair baldness, skin health, and even triggers other degenerative diseases that are more dangerous, such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, and even strokes.

4. Infection

Chronic infections due to the Epstein-Barr virus (mononucleosis) or Lyme disease can cause extreme fatigue.

5. Sleep apnea

In cases of sleep apnea, the throat closes when you sleep. That is why people with this condition tend to snore when they sleep at night.

People with sleep apnea are more likely to wake up at night. Therefore, they generally do not get enough sleep. This is why sleep apnea sufferers do not have enough energy to carry out activities the next day.

6. Thyroid disorders

Excess and lack of thyroid hormones can cause fatigue. You should be suspicious of this condition if fatigue is accompanied by indigestion, excessive sweating, and frequent drowsiness.

The thyroid gland is butterfly-shaped and is located at the bottom of the neck. The function of this gland is to produce the thyroxine hormone. If the function is impaired, fatigue and complaints that have been mentioned are very likely to occur.

7. Heart failure

When the heart fails to pump optimally, there are parts of the body that do not get the blood supply. This can cause a malfunction in the related organs.

If the lack of blood supply is a motion organ, the activity you do will feel very heavy. In addition, the body is also more easily exhausted even if only doing light activities.

The feeling of fatigue that occurs continuously must be addressed in the right way. Do not delay to immediately see a doctor, especially if the complaint you feel is accompanied by symptoms that are capable of causing various disorders in everyday life.
