8 Mistakes women make to skin

Not using sunscreen

Eating foods high in sugar, rarely eat fruits and vegetables

Switch to skin-friendly foods, such as vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Other studies have shown that fresh fruits and vegetables can help prevent skin damage that can cause premature aging. This type of food also has antioxidant properties that can help improve the skin.

Squeeze pimples

When acne appears on the face, surely you want to quickly eliminate it, one of which is to squeeze it. Unfortunately, this action is not recommended because it can cause acne scars, even infections.

The use of 2.5 percent benzoyl peroxide is an effective treatment if you want to get rid of acne. Avoid high concentrations because they can cause irritation, especially on sensitive skin.

Do not clean the makeup

The use of makeup is one way women express themselves, beautify, or mask facial imperfections. In fact, the skin will be better if not using makeup.

The use of makeup will make dirt and grease on the face trapped beneath the skin. The result can cause pore blockage, which may trigger inflammatory processes. Although the use is not prohibited, but make sure you clean the face of the makeup optimally, especially before bed.

Do not wash your face before bed

Although you include women who do not rely on makeup in everyday life, but that does not mean you do not need to clean the face. Dirt, oil, and pollution can still easily stick to the skin when you move. This is what causes the importance of cleaning the face, especially before bed.

Wash your face with soap

Soap has a high pH balance that can make your skin dry. So that not only dead skin cells are removed but also moisture in the skin. For that reason use a mildly textured soap and not too foaming.

Exfoliate

Scaly and plated skin is an early sign of skin dryness. Although exfoliation or exfoliation will cause the release of scaly skin in certain areas, but this treatment can interfere with skin moisture. So instead of exfoliating, it is better to smooth the dry skin by keeping skin hydrated.

Use scented and cream-free lotions with moisturizers such as glycerin, dimethicone, petrolatum, and butter such as cocoa and shea can absorb quickly into the skin and leave no sticky or oily feel to your skin.

Smoke

Smoking can damage the skin in several ways. Nicotine contained in cigarettes will reduce blood flow to the skin, which means your skin will not receive enough oxygen and nutrients. This will have an impact on the appearance of wrinkles and the skin will become rough.

Other chemicals contained in cigarettes will also cause collagen damage and elastin proteins that provide the structure of the skin, which is elastic and soft.
