Be Careful, These Fruits Can Make Bloated Stomach

Have you ever felt flatulence after eating certain types of fruit? In fact, some types of fruit can indeed cause your stomach to burst into bloating.

Basically, fruits contain lots of sugar, especially fructose and sorbitol. And if you swallow too much of these two substances, the stomach can react. Conditions can be even more uncomfortable if you already have a bad digestive condition.

In fact, gas-filled fruit will cause you to feel like you're just eating a bowl of ramen! The following are the fruits in question:

1. Pears

Actually, fruits that contain lots of water and sweet taste are very good for the health of the body. Because, pears contain pectin, a type of soluble fiber that can help lower cholesterol and make you feel full longer.

That is why people who are on a diet - to lose weight or to deal with certain diseases - are recommended to consume pears.

But unfortunately, behind the good benefits, pears also contain sorbitol, which is sugar alcohol which is usually added to gum. Basically, if your stomach does not have a problem, sorbitol can help facilitate your digestive system.

But on the other hand, there are also some people who may experience a fairly serious flatulence, even though he only consumes a few pears. Sorbitol itself is absorbed more slowly by the small intestine than other sugar varieties.

When it enters the large intestine, sorbitol will ferment, causing flatulence, increasing gas production, and causing cramps in some people. Unfortunately, there is no way to reduce the effects of sugar alcohol other than by avoiding it. But, sports allegedly can reduce the effects of bloating experienced.

2. Dry wine

Quoted from Women 's Health, dried fruits, especially raisins made from grapes, can help smooth your digestion. But be careful, raisins can also make you feel more distended.

This is because there are sources of sugar and fiber that are concentrated in the stomach. So, the bacteria in the large intestine act by creating fermented sugars and fibers that cannot be digested. As a result, gas production increases, which then makes you feel like a pregnant woman.

If you want to continue consuming raisins, compensate for drinking lots of water to neutralize gas in your stomach.

3. Apple

It is common knowledge that apples are full of antioxidants. Moreover, even green apples are said to contain more antioxidants than various berries.

But don't be too happy with this one. Because, despite being rich in antioxidants, apples also contain fructose or fruit sugar which is difficult for some people to digest.

Well, when the digestive system will break down fructose, gas will usually emerge in your stomach. So, for people who have a more sensitive digestion, you should consume only half an apple instead of eating everything. Then, chew slowly until it's completely pulverized. This method can reduce the amount of fructose you consume, so that the intestines can digest better.

4. Mango

Almost everyone in this world likes mangoes. Its sweet and bright color tastes suitable to be processed into various dessert menus. Not surprisingly, this one tropical fruit is favored by many people. However, mango turns out to contain a lot of sugar which is not fully absorbed by the small intestine.

So, mango sugar is trapped in the large intestine, ferments, and causes a lot of gas. So, how do you keep consuming mangoes without having to worry about having flatulence?

It's easy, every time you want to eat fruits that contain sugar, in this case mango, consume as much as one cup of mango that has been cut, no more. So, you can get the right fiber, carbohydrates and sugar.

Eating fruit is very good for your body's health. But in fact, there are several types of fruit that must be regulated by the amount of consumption because if excessive can cause flatulence. Balance your fruit intake by drinking water, chewing it thoroughly, and not consuming it too much, especially for those of you who have problems with digestion from the start. So, the risk of flatulence and distended conditions can be minimized.
