The best type of milk for diet is, of course, nonfat milk or skim milk. Not only does it contain no fat, but skim milk is also low in cholesterol. In a glass of skim milk, there are only 5 grams of cholesterol and no saturated fat. Because it has low fat and cholesterol content, even low-fat milk can provide several benefits for the body.
