1. Look at the baby clothes material

Washing baby clothes with a washing machine will certainly help ease the work. However, look again at the clothing materials in question. Some types of baby clothes cannot be washed with a washing machine. Preferably before buying baby clothes, pay attention to the necessary care measures.

2. Suitable detergent

Some babies need a special detergent to wash the clothes they wear, especially babies who have sensitive skin. Baby's skin is more sensitive so it is more susceptible to skin problems, such as allergies and eczema. However, the baby without the complaint can use detergent used by other family members at home. You can choose liquid detergent instead of powder because it is easier to rinse. This will reduce the risk of causing irritation to the baby's skin. When you want to replace detergent, do a trial on one shirt first to see if there is a reaction on the baby's skin. It is best to avoid detergents that use softener additives because they are more at risk of causing irritation to the skin.

3. Separate cloth diapers

When washing cloth diapers, separate them from other baby clothes. Avoid using detergents and fragrances that contain harsh chemicals. Use baby-specific detergent made from soft skin for the little one. Rinse cloth diapers at least twice so that the remaining soap is completely gone.

4. Pay attention to the water temperature

Baby clothes can be washed with warm water to heat, with temperatures between 30-40 degrees Celsius. But if it's not possible, you can still use water with normal temperatures.

5. Soaking clothes

Baby clothes can not be separated from stains. Starting from stains of milk, vomit, or urine and dirt from the little one. The easiest way to remove the stain is to immediately wash it. However, if the stain has already been stuck, you can try removing it by soaking it in water and detergent. If necessary, use a stain remover that was previously safe for baby clothes.

6. Rinse thoroughly

After washing, be it with your hands or washing machine, rinse the clothes at least twice or three times with different clean water. This is done so that the remaining detergent and dirt are washed away by the water. Then, place the clothes on the dryer and dry them in a place that is exposed to the sun.

After the clothes are dry, you can immediately iron them or simply fold them and store them in the closet. In addition to clothes, other baby accessories attached to the skin must also be cleaned properly, such as blankets or sheets.

Babies have different skin types than adults. Look carefully at baby clothing material, how to wash contained on the clothing label, and the materials used to wash it. Consult your doctor if your baby's skin is irritated.
